The field of participants is the best ever, as this tournament not only supports the German Sports Aid Foundation, it is also the last chance for players to qualify for the Masters at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Leading the way is one of the greatest sports legends of all time: Björn Borg. He is the big name of the white sport and is happy to be back on the court with his former rivals.
His presence is like a magnet and so this year seven Wimbledon champions will play in one tournament.
Goran Ivanisevic, the defending champion, Pat Cash, Paul Haarhuis, the tour's "reigning" Masters champion, Richard Kraijcek and Michael Stich, both in Frankfurt for the first time, and Anders Jarryd. The field is completed by French Open winner Thomas Muster.
But also your muscles will be strained, more precisely your laughing muscles, because for more than twelve years our friend Mansour Bahrami has been thrilling visitors of our tournaments and tennis fans all over the world.
He will be joined by one of the best doubles players of all time, multiple Wimbledon and Australian Open winner Peter McNamara. Together with two of the legends, you will celebrate the art of tennis in doubles matches.

We are proud that Walter Wiesmüller has been the official trophy maker of our tournaments, the klarmobil.de Champions Trophy Frankfurt, the New York Champions Trophy and the Abu Dhabi Champions Trophy for many years. The mouth-blown glass trophies, interspersed with silver and gold stripes, are yet another proof of Walter Wiesmüller's creativity.
The legend of trophy makers, as John McEnroe calls him, also holds an unbeaten world record. Walter Wiesmüller has made the largest tennis stadium out of glass, a unique piece worldwide. A stadium of this size and type has never been seen before.
